Meet Dr. Erin Elizabeth Suttle
Brazil | Class of 2025 | DNM, DFM
"The best medicine is to teach others how not to need it." — E. Suttle
Erin Elizabeth Suttle's path to holistic medicine began with a devastating prognosis that would have broken most people's spirits.
Born with P-ACC—a condition where part of the connection between the left and right hemispheres of her brain was missing—along with a benign tumor, Erin had faced health challenges for as long as she could remember, including debilitating hemiplegic migraines.
At just 28 years old, her neurologist delivered crushing news: he believed she had fast progressive MS and didn't expect her to make it to 30. |

| A Journey from Despair to Hope
"After lots of prayers, I believe God led me to look into natural health options," Erin shares. What followed was nothing short of life-altering.
Working with herbalists, homeopaths, and natural practitioners, Erin's health improved dramatically—the MS symptoms her doctor had predicted would end her life never materialized, and she found relief from the debilitating conditions that had plagued her since birth.
That personal transformation sparked an obsession—a deep desire to understand every avenue of holistic care that could help not only herself but others facing similar struggles.
Her journey took on new meaning as she became a mother to an autistic son. "Every new thing I learn helps put another piece in the puzzle of his care," she explains.
From craniosacral therapy and NAET to homeopathy and supplements, each modality has helped him become healthier and less symptomatic, fueling her commitment to comprehensive, integrative care. |

| Education That Opened Doors
When Erin began searching for ways to formalize her knowledge and help others, she faced a common challenge: finding affordable natural medicine programs that could be completed online. "I spent several years looking," she recalls.
When she discovered Rockwell, everything clicked into place. "I finally found a program that would work with my schedule, and I loved that I could have access to all of the classes and could learn so much more to help as many people as possible."
Originally enrolling in the natural medicine program, Erin found herself inspired to explore functional medicine. "After doing the functional medicine program, I'm much more open to testing and using modern methods," she notes.
The genetics classes and organic acids testing particularly resonated with her approach to comprehensive wellness and metabolic support. |

| Transforming Lives Through Holistic Care
Today, as a DFM and DNM, Erin runs Erin Elizabeth Holistic Health, where she's passionate about offering affordable care to those who need it most. "I believe everyone should be able to afford the care they need," she emphasizes.
Her approach is meticulous—featuring an 11-page intake form that examines all aspects of a client's life and history to create truly personalized holistic wellness plans.
One of her most meaningful success stories involves her own father. While studying functional medicine, Erin began to suspect he had SIBO. In his 70s and after seeing countless doctors and gastroenterologists with no answers, he had never been receptive to her suggestions.
But after hearing about everything she'd been learning, he agreed to let her conduct an FBCA and Microbiome analysis, and his doctor ordered a SIBO test.
The positive result led to a holistic plan focusing on rebuilding gut health, lowering stress, and optimizing vitamin and mineral levels.
"A year later, and he's feeling better than he has in decades, he can eat and travel again and he's been much happier." |

| Another client came to Erin in early menopause after a partial hysterectomy, suffering from extreme fatigue, sleeping only 4-5 hours per night, and experiencing hot flashes. After addressing numerous deficiencies and lifestyle factors, the transformation was remarkable.
"After just 6 months her deficiencies were balancing, she was sleeping a full 8 hours, and she had no more menopause symptoms. She couldn't have been happier and she referred several friends."
Stories like these capture exactly why Erin does this work: "I love when I see clients return smiling and happy that they're feeling better!
I love every report that after seeing countless doctors that said everything is fine, it's all in your head, there's nothing you can do etc., that following their wellness plan is showing unexpected and amazing results!" |

| A Global Mission
Currently based in Brazil, Erin primarily works with missionaries from around the world, offering affordable care and understanding for those with limited incomes living in multicultural, high-stress environments.
She also maintains a part-time practice serving clients in the United States seeking natural and functional care.
This past year marked her first taking clients part time while homeschooling her son. Despite the constraints, she worked with over 100 clients—a testament to the tremendous need for holistic care.
Most remarkably, she provided free FBCA consults for over 60 missionary children in Brazil, embodying her belief that everyone deserves access to quality care regardless of their financial situation. |

| Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Erin has ambitious plans to expand her impact. She'll be offering several online programs in both the US and Brazil, working with labs, and exploring the development of customized homeopathics and supplements specifically for the Brazilian market.
Her long-term vision includes creating more affordable programs in Portuguese, addressing the scarcity of quality holistic care options in Brazil.
She's particularly focused on developing a comprehensive program for autism that would include FBCA, microbiome testing, allergy testing, and primitive reflex integration therapy—drawing from her own experience supporting her son's health journey.
"I'm so proud that I can offer a holistic approach combining natural medicine and functional medicine”, Erin reflects on her dual training at Rockwell. |

| Daily Grounding and Words of Wisdom
To maintain balance amid her demanding work and family life, Erin relies on the Abide app, which offers meditations for every circumstance, helping her stay centered and connected to her faith.
For those considering a similar path, Erin's wisdom is both practical and encouraging: "Keep learning, keep growing, always do the best you can and take your time."
Her journey from a devastating prognosis to becoming a healer who serves hundreds of clients around the world stands as a powerful testament to the transformative power of holistic medicine—and her commitment to ensuring that financial barriers never stand between people and the healing they deserve.
