Meet Sophia Lynn Buckridge

Director of Admissions | Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine

"Sometimes the path you're searching for ends up finding you." — Sophia Lynn Buckridge

Long before Sophia joined the Rockwell team, she was navigating her own health journey and searching for a different approach.

What began as a personal health journey soon became a passion for holistic medicine—one that ultimately led her to the very school she now has the privilege of sharing with future students every day. 🩵

Finding Rockwell

Sophia was drawn to Rockwell after facing countless dead ends in her own health journey with conventional medicine. She knew she wanted to learn as much as possible so she could advocate for herself and her health, and when she discovered Rockwell's programs, they immediately felt aligned.

They offered everything she was looking for—and more.

After her discovery call, Sophia knew Rockwell would be the perfect fit. She was excited to immerse herself in the world of holistic health and begin learning everything she could.

Like many prospective students, Sophia wasn't coming from years of clinical practice. Instead, she brought lived experience, endless curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand the human body.

A Light at the End of the Tunnel

Sophia discovered Rockwell during a season of life when she was working in a job that left her feeling deeply unhappy and unfulfilled. It had reached the point where it was taking a significant toll on her mental well-being.

Finding Rockwell felt like the light at the end of the tunnel.

It gave her hope. It gave her something to look forward to at the end of each day. It introduced her to a community of like-minded people who shared her passion for holistic health.

It felt like a breath of fresh air during a time when she felt like she was suffocating.

For the first time in a long time, Sophia felt genuinely excited about her future.

A Life-Changing Opportunity

When Sophia was given the opportunity to join the Rockwell team, her life changed exponentially.

It was truly a dream come true.

What began as a decision to invest in her own education and health completely changed the trajectory of her life.

She finally stepped into a role where she felt she was living out her purpose—surrounded by people who understood her and shared the same mission of making the world a happier and healthier place.

Walking Alongside Future Students

As Director of Admissions, one of Sophia's greatest joys is connecting with people at the beginning of their own journeys and offering them what Rockwell once gave her:

Support. Alignment. Hope. Excitement for the future.

Having spent countless hours researching online, trying supplements and protocols, and searching for answers herself, Sophia understands exactly what many prospective students are experiencing.

That's why she connects with them so deeply—because she was sitting in their exact seat not long ago.

Today, she considers it a true privilege to introduce others to Rockwell and help them discover a path that has the potential to be just as life-changing as it was for her.

Beyond the Classroom

Outside of Rockwell, Sophia splits her time between New York and Tulum, enjoying a lifestyle she once only dreamed of.

She loves sharing her own health journey and transformation with others who have walked a similar path, helping them reconnect with their bodies and better understand the root causes of their health challenges.

Sophia's mission is to make holistic health feel approachable, practical, and a little less intimidating while empowering others to take an active role in their own healing.

If her story helps someone feel a little more hopeful, a little more empowered, or simply reminds them that they're not alone on their journey, then she knows she's doing exactly what she set out to do.
