Meet Dr. Chelsea Longoria
Arizona | Class of 2024 | DFM, DHN
"Go all in." - C. Longoria
Some practitioners arrive in holistic medicine through curiosity or academic interest. Chelsea Longoria arrived through necessity, a mother navigating fear, helplessness, and a medical system that repeatedly failed to provide answers.
Today, she is the founder of Holistic Divine Wellness, a Christ-centered functional medicine practice serving clients around the world.
But her journey formally took shape through her studies at Rockwell, where she earned the Doctor of Functional Medicine (DFM) and the Doctor of Holistic Nutrition (DHN) — credentials that reflect both her dedication and the depth of her expertise. 💚 |

| Seeing Beyond Symptoms
Chelsea spent years working within conventional medicine. She saw patients move through a system that managed symptoms but rarely addressed the deeper dysfunctions driving those symptoms. "People were being given prescriptions," she recalls, "but not answers."
"They were surviving, not healing."
Her concerns shifted from observation to urgency when her own children were diagnosed with hypothyroidism and immediately placed on a path of medication, with no discussion of root causes, lifestyle factors, or nutritional considerations. It was a wake-up call, and it changed the direction of her life. 💡 |

| A Transformative Journey
Searching for a place that honored root-cause medicine, clinical precision, and spiritual integrity, she found Rockwell.
"Rockwell aligned with my beliefs," she says of the school. "They teach medicine through the lens of physiology, biochemistry, and faith in the body’s God-given design."
The curriculum, taught by experienced functional doctors and practitioners, provided precisely what she needed: the depth, rigor, and evidence-based clarity to step fully into her calling.
Her studies were transformative. 💫
Rockwell strengthened her understanding of endocrine pathways, systemic detoxification, mitochondrial health, and autoimmune dysfunctions, all necessary for the complex clients she now serves.
But one moment stood out above the rest: completing the Iodine Literacy Practitioner certification, a turning point that provided the precise knowledge she needed to support her children’s thyroid function naturally.Â
"It opened my eyes to what functional medicine really is," she explains. "Rockwell helped me understand the body beyond conventional medicine’s narrow lens." |

| Where Science Meets Faith
Equipped with her doctorates, Chelsea opened Holistic Divine Wellness, where she specializes in the cases many practitioners consider the most challenging: mitochondrial dysfunction, MTHFR variations, detox impairment, chronic inflammation, endocrine imbalances, autoimmune patterns, nervous system dysregulation, and complex gut microbiome disorders.
As a Certified Clinical Practitioner in the Gut Microbiome, she sees clients ranging from toddlers to elders, guiding each individual through a comprehensive, faith-rooted healing process.
Her philosophy is simple and unwavering: healing must honor God’s design for the human body. 🙏
"My practice is Christ-centered," she says, "and my work integrates Scripture with functional medicine. God created the body to heal. My job is to help people understand how to support that design."
This integration of science and faith sets her apart, creating a model of care where clinical insight, biblical wisdom, and root-cause analysis meet.
Her clients’ transformations reflect the depth of her training. One patient endured psoriasis and a rare skin condition called D.S.A.P. for years, despite multiple medications and conventional interventions.
Through Chelsea’s foundational functional medicine protocol, grounded in what she learned at Rockwell, the client experienced full reversal of both conditions. "Seeing her come back to life; seeing joy in her face again, reminded me why this work matters," she says.
"This is the power of addressing the whole person, not the symptom." 🌿 |

| A Holistic Awakening
Rockwell didn’t just shape Chelsea’s professional framework; it reshaped her worldview. She describes it as an awakening: a realization of how limited conventional medicine can be and how profoundly the human body responds when supported properly. "
"After my education at Rockwell, I saw everything differently, my home, my habits, my children’s health, my faith, all of it." She committed to living fully aligned with holistic principles, integrating what she learned into her routines, her parenting, her environment, and her understanding of the body as God’s intricate and purposeful creation.
Looking ahead, Chelsea envisions significant growth for Holistic Divine Wellness. She hopes to expand her virtual practice, continue helping patients reverse diseases they were told were irreversible and educate others about what functional medicine truly is.
She plans to deepen her work within microbiome science, endocrine health, detoxification, and metabolic repair, all grounded in Rockwell’s teachings and a Christ-centered framework. "My mission is to help people understand what’s truly possible," she says.
"Healing is real. Reversal is real. Hope is real." ✨ |

| A Calling, Not a Career
For new practitioners entering the field, she offers one clear piece of wisdom: "Go all in." Learning functional medicine deeply, she believes, is what creates the capacity to change lives.
"So many people feel broken and hopeless," she explains. "But when you understand root-cause medicine, you realize how much healing is actually possible."
Her daily grounding practice remains simple: she begins each morning in Scripture. "Being rooted in God’s Word keeps me aligned with Him as the true Healer," she says. "It’s how I stay centered, humble, and guided."
For Chelsea Longoria, holistic medicine is not a career; it is a calling. Through her Rockwell training, her faith, her science-backed methods, and her belief that God designed every cell with intention, she is helping people reclaim their health, their energy, and their hope one restored life at a time. 💚  Visit Dr. Longoria's Website
